We are so proud to be a part of this all-time great American tradition.
CLEVELAND, OHIO — October 31, 2016 — Bak USA has forged another local partnership, this time with global hospitality conglomerate Delaware North. Delaware North, the official food and beverage partner of the Cleveland Indians at Progressive Field, is implementing the use of Bak USA’s rugged mobile device, the Seal 8, to facilitate concessions sales throughout the ballpark.
The partnership is especially noteworthy because Progressive Field will host Game 6 of the World Series this Tuesday night, the third and final game to be played in Cleveland.
The partnership between Bak USA and Delaware North is a grand slam for the city of Buffalo.”
Progressive Field employees working in club suites, along aisles, and at kiosks throughout the stadium are using Seal 8 tablets to take food and drink orders from fans waiting in line or sitting comfortably in their seats.
Specially engineered with a Gorilla Glass touchscreen and rugged rubberized casing, the Seal 8 is water-resistant, dustproof, and fully functional in extreme climates. The Seal 8 operates on either Windows or Android operating system, runs on Intel Bay Trail processors, and has a long-lasting lithium polymer battery. Built to withstand operating temps from 14 to 122 degrees Fahrenheit, the Seal 8 has been impressing users and spectators who’ve seen it resting in ice bins at concession stands at the ballpark.
The partnership between Bak USA and Delaware North is a grand slam for the city of Buffalo as both businesses represent the continued success of local entrepreneurship, technological innovation, and American manufacturing.
