Bak USA is on the verge of a breakthrough in worldwide tech production.

Happy New Year!

There’s plenty to be said about 2016, and there’s even more to anticipate in 2017. While we certainly experienced many changes and moving parts throughout the year, there remained one universal constant. A mantra, if you will, which is this: Create a new era in American manufacturing.

Since we opened our doors in January 2015, we’ve shared this message with you in more ways than one. But here’s exactly what we mean when we say it, and more importantly, what we’re doing to make it happen.

1. What’s the difference?

In a sea of sameness, Bak USA is making waves. While most computer companies are driven by billion-dollar bottom lines, overseas assembly lines, and faceless exchanges, we are motivated by more people-centric perspectives.

“The endgame is this: Build world-class computers. Create jobs in urban communities. Establish American cities as mainstays of global technology.”

2. Out of many, we are one.

Comprised of an eclectic workforce, we proudly represent 27 languages, 14 nationalities, and one common vision. Our diversity represents the resilience of the human spirit and the beauty of the American dream.

3. What we do. Why we do it.

With an emphasis on human values and social justice, our mission is to build high-quality computers, empower local communities, and activate social prosperity. Together we can make high-quality technologies accessible to every human being on earth.

4. We believe that technology is a basic human right.

Too many deserving communities lack access to high-quality technologies. To bridge the digital divide, we work with schools, businesses, and government institutions to produce the best computers at the most agreeable price-point.

“The American Standard is predicated on a commitment to socially conscious, culturally inclusive, and local business operations.”

5. Defining the American Standard.

The American Standard is predicated on a commitment to socially conscious, culturally inclusive, and local business operations. The endgame is this: Build world-class computers. Create jobs in urban communities. Establish American cities as mainstays of global technology.

6. Born in Buffalo. Built for the world.

Our highly trained builders assemble devices with pinpoint precision in a top floor cleanroom overlooking the Buffalo cityscape. Each computer is built with care, skill, and pride by just one human being in the industrial heartland of America.

7. Why that matters to us.

Building devices by hand, from start to finish, fosters a sense of ownership that results in unsurpassed quality. We are proud to share opportunities to learn, grow, and succeed with so many different people in our immediate area and beyond.

Every device is built by hand from start to finish at Bak USA.

8. Why that should matter to you.

When you purchase devices from Bak USA, you’re not just
getting new and exciting technology. You’re also humanizing high-tech manufacturing, joining a diverse community of dedicated craftspeople, and participating in a new era of American industry.

“Take pride in owning a high-quality computer that was built right here in the United States of America.”

9. We’re talking proud.

Take pride in owning a high-quality computer that was built right here in the United States of America. Feel good about embracing a business model that champions local communities, promotes cultural inclusion, and celebrates social values. Get excited about a new era in American manufacturing!

10. We’re here for you.

Our commitment to your experience goes well beyond the point of sale. As proponents of transparency in business, we want you to have the most informed understanding of what we do at Bak USA. If you have any questions, comments, or wish to schedule a tour at our facility, please contact us online or call 716.248.2704.

As we cast our gaze onto the horizon of the new year ahead, we look forward to the road we’ll travel, the people we’ll meet, and the lives we’ll change along the way.
