There’s a lot to love about living and working in downtown Buffalo. But what are we most thankful for?
Sharing opportunities in a revitalized downtown.
We’re thankful to be a part of Buffalo’s rejuvenated downtown. And we’re proud to share so much success with our community in the City of Good Neighbors. With the emergence of One Buffalo, the construction of the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus, and the development of Canalside, we’re excited about the city’s resurgence and enthusiastic about what’s to come.
Living and working in the City of Good Neighbors.
Buffalo is our favorite place to meet new people, experience unique cultures, and celebrate diversity in and out of the workplace. Our friends and neighbors in Buffalo are a key part of our commitment to building high-quality computers right here in urban America. Community organizations such as the West Side Bazaar, WEDI Buffalo, Jericho Road, and the International Institute of Buffalo work tirelessly to ensure that our city is a warm and welcoming home for Buffalonians new and old—and we’re proud to live in a town with so many incredible people.
Building partnerships with people who care.
We’re thankful for our business partners in and around the city. With opportunities to team up with so many bright minds in technology and innovation, Buffalo’s becoming a real hotspot for start-up activity. With an overflowing wealth of resources from the University at Buffalo, groundbreaking contributions from START-UP NY, and high-tech insights from Buffalo Manufacturing Works and Buffalo Niagara Manufacturing Alliance, young businesses like ours have access to the many tools we need to succeed. And how could we forget? Without the support and encouragement from everyone at Invest Buffalo Niagara, we—like so many others—simply wouldn’t be working and thriving in Western New York.
Being a part of a thriving start-up culture.
Creative workspaces for collaboration help small business owners from all over the region make their start-up dreams a reality. So they can make a difference and do what they love. Want examples? Sure, you do. 43North awards millions of dollars in capital to new Buffalo-based businesses every year. The University at Buffalo’s Blackstone LaunchPad is helping develop the next generation of entrepreneurs. And The Foundry, a makerspace and small business incubator on Buffalo’s East Side, is introducing neighborhood prosperity through education and entrepreneurship. Plus—PLUS!—The Innovation Center on the aforementioned Medical Campus has created an ecosystem for start-up success in Buffalo Niagara.
Embracing the #Buffalove for life.
We’re infinitely grateful to live and work in a city that knows what it take to build new beginnings brick by brick, day by day, one brilliant idea at a time. Which reminds us how we really get things done: food and drink, baby! We’re thankful for the fuel from our bean-grinding brothers and sisters at Public Espresso and Perks Cafe, and we live and die by the farm-fresh sustenance from our friends at Lloyd. And when it comes to style? Yes, the New Era flag flies high in Buffalo. Even multinational institutions such as Rich Products, M&T Bank, and Delaware North make us proud to live in a city that’s home to worldwide success.
There’s plenty more to be thankful for at Bak USA—and we want you to join us around our table. Interested? See what’s cooking on our careers page.
